Young Investigators
Endowment Research Fund (YIER)
The International Xenotransplantation Association has created a new endowment fund to support the education, research and mentorship of the next generation of professionals in Xenotransplantation. Donations will be collected into an endowment fund managed by IXA and TTS. The funds raised will support a variety of initiatives, which will be coordinated by the fundraising and endowment committee (FREC), under the leadership of the IXA Council. Examples of initiatives to be supported will include travel awards to attend IXA meetings, and financial support to travel to different institutions across the world in order to broaden the research experience of scholars.
Donors can choose an individual donation amount or choose from one of the amounts listed. Charitable tax receipts issued in US dollars will be issued to all donors at the end of the tax year. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law; for donors outside of North America please consult with your tax advisor regarding specific questions about your deductions.
